Naval Museum
The İnciraltı Maritime Museum in Izmir is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in the history of Turkish maritime. Located at the İnciraltı pier in Balçova, the museum is housed on veteran ships of the Turkish Navy and offers visitors a chance to learn about the past of Turkish maritime.
The museum is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and weekends, except on New Year’s Day, the first day of religious holidays, and Mondays.
Entrance fee
Entrance fees are 25 TL for adults, 25 TL for children and youth aged 0-18 who are Turkish citizens, and 25 TL for foreign children aged 0-8. The museum is free for students studying art history, archaeology, and museology at universities, as well as for Turkish citizens over the age of 65.
The museum tour takes approximately 45 minutes and is conducted in groups with attendants.
