2. Cable Car

The cable car, which has a height of 316 meters and a line length of 810 meters, operates with twenty gondolas carrying 8 people each. Founded in 1947, the area where the cable car is located has a viewing terrace, a ravioli house, pleasant paths where you can walk, and a market. 3. Varyant

5. Homeros Valley

According to legend, Homer, the famous bard of the Greeks, lived in the cave in the valley in the bed of the Bornova Stream, which runs between the center of Bornava and Kayadibi. Eighteen ponds were built in this recreation area and nearly seventy thousand plants were planted. More than 100 bird species live in the area. 9. Kadifekale

It is said that the Amazon women who lived in Kadifekale, formerly known as Pagos, once came down from the mountain and started living here. Only five towers and part of the southern walls remain. 10. World Peace Monument

The monument has a special place because it was built in memory of the 33 intellectuals who lost their lives in the Sivas massacre in 1993. The World Peace Monument, which is an ideal place to take panoramic photos of Izmir, was established at the summit of the recreation area located on the Orgeneral Nafiz Gürman Neighborhood. There is also a restaurant, café and picnic area inside.
