Bozdağ Ski Center

Bozdağ Ski Center near İzmir

Bozdağ is a popular place to visit for both locals and people from other countries because of its location, natural beauty, and picnic and recreation areas. Also, the opening of the Bozdağ Ski Center, which is known as the Uluda of the Aegean, has turned the area into a major tourist destination.

The Bozdağ Ski Center opened in 1998. It is open to tourists in both the summer and winter. On vacation days, the building can serve more than 15,000 people. There are 3 ski areas in the facility, and both experienced and beginning skiers can use them. The building has a 60-bed hotel, a restaurant, a cafeteria, and viewing balconies.

Travel agencies set up tours to Bozda every day. Most of the time, these tours are set up as Ödemiş, Birgi, Gölcük, Bozdağ, Salihli Hot Springs, and Sart.

Every February, “mountain climbing festivals” are held in Bozdağ. Members of a mountaineering club who come to the town between these dates camp and hike to the top.

Paragliding is also possible in Bozdağ because of its geography. In the spring and summer, people who like to paraglide are very interested in the town.
